The musical landscape in Brazil is diverse and extremely varied, encompassing dozens of different styles from rock to regional manifestations such as techno-kitsch, to a series of offshoots of samba.

As this mapping will show there are many different musical organizations in Brazil. Many of them favor exchanges between Brazil and The Netherlands. While there is a scarcity of information in Brazil about the Dutch music scene, there are considerable opportunities for introducing Dutch music to Brazilian audiences. However, projects created by foreign countries to create an interchange between Brazilian and foreign music have not yet reached a large audience in Brazil.
